Motive Cosmetics should be a houshold name

Hi, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I’ve been pretty effing lazy recently when it comes to mix and matching colors. On a daily basis, chances are I awakened late and do not have much time to put more than minimal effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, infrequently eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it was not till I received a bunch of Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely I have been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.

Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a reasonably new line that isn’t big, but definitely should be. It isn’t super costly, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t need to be at once related with cost. This is not one of those corporations. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.

It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colours. I attempted on some different shades over the course of a week to get an understanding of all the colours. They are not super-heavy, so it’s possibly not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works rather well for wearing to parties and so on. You may also mix the colours with a little water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you intend to be out for hours at a time and do not need your makeup wearing out before you do.

I’m routinely not keen on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF fifteen ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and did not have a cakey finish. While I will not wear it each day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. nights and times I am on camera ( hi-def is a bitch!)

Last Saturday I was headed to a party, so I believed it’d be lovable to layer their new gloss ( coming shortly on the site over the wealthy Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a large amount of compliments, and the hubby liked it, so when I awakened the following day still a touch lagered and ready to wear a fun outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : toothsome breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.

Ultimately , I have been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days rather than my usual cheek stain. It has not made a giant difference, but that is sort of the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got a lot of compliments, I love Motives Cosmetics !
