Is There Something You Really Want To Do In Life?

Do you have any goals that you are working towards at the moment? Or how about some you want to get to some day, when you have some spare time? I think most people as they get older fall into the trap of being so wrapped up with the mundane responsibilities of being an adult, looking after the house, thinking about having kids, paying credit card bills etc, that we forget about all the cool things we used to really want to do?

Like lots of people want to know how to learn guitar, yet they never take that next step to actually get lessons or buy a good course. Maybe you are interested in something else though, like becoming an artist, or learning to sing, or even learning to cook? Most people when they get home from work at night just watch TV, but fulfilling your dreams and learning a new skill or hobby is really rewarding and a great way to spend your free time, plus you might find something new that you really love doing.

Of course once you start looking into it then most people come up with a load of excuses as to why they can’t, they can’t afford it, or they need to work late at their job etc, but really those are just lame excuses people use to put off taking action and possible failing. We are not going to be good at everything, so yes you might fail at your new pastime, it happens, but once you have tried it and gotten the bug then you’ll want to keep trying new things until you find something you are good at. I have heard of 80 year olds climbing mountains because it was their dream, so don’t ever use age as an excuse to stop you achieving your dreams.
