Fitness Holiday advice
I am so ecstatic. I have decided to travel on a fitness holiday. I am a college student and I will masteral in August. My folks advised me that if I pass I can go on a gap year, amazing news! I am a bit chubby and it is time to reduce my baby fat so my choice is to get started my gap year of with a fitness holiday.
I recognized I wished to start my gap year off with a fitness holiday, but I had no notion what the option were. Thank god for the online. I typed in fitness holiday in to The search engines and there it was. Xtreme Gap a cool looking gap year company focusing in fitness holidays. With options all over the world.
I found three really cool options. Because I am into Martial Arts (my whole family is, do not know why), I was looking for a Fitness holiday with martial Arts. I found Mixed martial Arts in Thailand, Kung Fu in China and a fitness holiday programme with capoeira in Brazil.
The fitness holiday in Thailand looks seriously cool, six kilometres from the worlds most beautiful beaches, in the tropical rainforest with national Champions. Here you can train up to eight hours a day without distractions of parties. This might be something for me. Because if there are too many parties to visit, I will never lose my puppy fat, and then after partying and drinking I will not be able to look the Thai champion in the eye to tell him I have a hangover.
Then I came across the fitness holiday in China. China fascinates me, the culture is so different and my mom always had a thing for Chuck Norris. I have seen so many Kung Fu movies that I actually think I know some moves. And the other thing is, on the Fitness holiday in China you will have the option to learn how to speak mandarin, would love to give that a try, and then next time I order Chinese back home I can do it in Mandarin.
But then I came across a fitness holiday in Brazil. I love Capoeira. Not that I have ever done it but it looks so cool! And have you seen those bodies? This fitness holiday programme is in Rio, close to the busiest beach in Brazil where everything that is alive looks good. I think this will be my favourite. Now all I have to do is to convince my parents to contribute in the costs.
I know my parents will agree on me going on a fitness holiday, they understand that it will make me happy. They have always travelled and my dad took lots of fitness holidays, but In his time there were not so many cool things to choose from. I better not give him the idea it is going to be great, he might want to come with me, I am not really looking forward to having my dad with me on my fitness holiday.
The other thing with booking through Xtreme Gap is that they always have people on the ground who can help you out. There is an English speaking Xtreme Gap guide at the fitness holiday programmes that will be able to support you when you need it. Since a fitness holiday in China, Brazil or Thailand is not close to home this is a good argument to tell your parents so they will be more inclined to let you go on your own.
